From the group of 1 year old mares we pre-trained recently are two sisters, Asbru and Askja, the father is Samber from Asbru. Beautyful mares with good temper.

Saekatla

Just now, our 1 year old mares stay in our stable for a little pre-training. One of the mares is Saekatla, daughter of Hvita-Sunna and Saer from Bakkakot. Saekatla has a beautiful movements and is quick to learn.

Son of Hilmir, Vinur from Saudarkrokur and his owner Marcus Albricht maid a good trip to Germany last weekend. They competed in 150m pace and got the time 13.76 sec. Very happy thing when Saudarkrokur horses do well.

Sons of Huginn

We took to 3 years old stallions home this weekend. They are sons of the 1. prize mares Lyfting and Vidja and the father is Huginn from Hagi. We are pleased with these young stallions, beautiful with good movements. Their name is Almar og Iskristall.

Jarlhetta

Jarlhetta from Saudarkrokur got judged in Hafnarfjordur last week. She got 8.04 as overall, 8.5 for tolt and beauty in riding. The rider was Sigurður V Matthiasson. Jarlhetta is now in Audholtshjaleiga, and there she will meet Trostan from Audholtshjaleiga.
