When Audur was going to check her new born foal, Hekla came running to her. It was abvious that something was wrong. When Audur stepped out of the car, Hekla turned and took a run in to the house and went for Audur with her head out of the door. Later Audur found out that she couldnt deliver a hugh foal and she needed a help. We called to animal doctor and he managed to drag the foal out of Hekla, and the foal was still alive. The first foal this year is born. It was Kna who got bay colored mare foal, daughter of Thristur from Fet. We are satisfied with it and it and she mainly run on light tolt. She have got the name Hvot. Read the rest of this entry »

It is very interesting to watch our young horses grow every year. We have more hopes in some than others. This one has always been a favorite. Her name is Skuld and is daughter of Lyfting and Hattur from Thufur. She will be trained this winter and it will be interesting to see what she will do.

The first offspring of Hvita-Sunna is now 4 years old. Her name is Hatid and is daughter of Hrodur from Refstadir. Hatid is being trained by Elli and Vidja in Langholt and is she very promising. The owners of Hatid are Hannes and Inga who run a breeding called Hamarsey. The photos are borrowed from them.
